News from Daniel Battye
Hi all,

Please find attached some important information:

-                      You will be unable to make any changes to RAMS between 7.00AM and 12.00PM on Sunday the 7th of August 2011 while the server is moved to another building.  You will also need to update your bookmarks, as the jaring.com.au address is being closed down shortly.  You can access our RAMS through:  www.rams.net.au/vbraknox from Sunday onward, however I would suggest you access the site by clicking RAMS from the www.vbraknox.org.au website.

-                      The sports store at the stadium is currently running a special offer for referees – Under Armour Supreme Sport Shoes in BLACK - $125.95.  Please mention you are a referee to get the discounted pricing.  This is only valid until the end of August 2011.  A flyer is attached for your information.

-                      When laying a report – you must circle Yes or No for Alternate Procedure.  If you do not circle, the Tribunal Secretary will use their discretion and make the decision for you.  Please make sure you circle Yes or No!  If you select Alternate Procedure, you must include as much detail as possible.  Write the report as if you are giving your evidence at the Tribunal.  This will allow the Chairperson to make the best decision possible.  If you do not include enough information, your report may be dismissed or it may be sent to Tribunal for you to give additional information.

-                      In Junior Basketball (Under 8s to Under 23s) both sides must have a coach and a scorer.  There are NO penalties to be given for no scorer or no coach in Juniors.  The game simply does not commence.  If after ten minutes, the team is not able to supply a coach or scorer the game is to be declared a walkover!  There is no such thing in juniors as 10 points for no scorer.

-                      Recently it was noted that players on a team bench threw food onto the court while the game was taking place.  Please make sure if you experience problems with team behaviour that you address this immediately with the coach in Junior games.  Should this type of poor behaviour continue please deal with it accordingly.  You should also advise your Supervisor so that action can be taken with the club in question.
